Smoke Free Fleet

Your Econo Campers vehicle will be totally smoke free. A cleaning fee will apply if we are required to clean your vehicle because you have smoked in it.

Road User Charge/Diesel Tax

Econo Campers does NOT charge you extra for the New Zealand Road User Charge / Diesel Tax applicable to the 2 Berth Motorhome.

On Road Assistance

It is your obligation to contact Econo Campers should any problems be experienced with the vehicle.

Econo Campers offers a 24 hour telephone number for On-Road Assistance in case of accidents or breakdowns - Freephone 0800 759 919.

Interisland Ferry Bookings

We are a registered New Zealand Rail Agent and can reserve and ticket Interislander Ferry bookings on your behalf.

While there are several crossings daily in each direction, Summer and Winter schedules do vary. When requesting bookings, please nominate a preferred departure time from the timetable below. The nearest available departure will then be reserved.

It is not always necessary for you to book a ferry in advance, but we do recommend that you do so to avoid delay. Bookings are strongly advised during the high season November to March and it is advisable to reserve the ferry at the same time as you book your vehicle.

The following information is required when making ferry reservations:

- Full names of all passengers (first and family names)
- Number of adults
- Number of children
- Ages of children
- Departure date
- Preferred departure time

Approximate charges for the Interislander Ferry are:

Econo Campers 2/3 Hi Top Campervan & 2 Berth Campervan - NZ$180.00  

        Additional Costs include:

NZ$60.00 for each adult passenger

NZ$34.00 for each child between the ages of two and fourteen years

FREE for each child under two years

NZ$83.00 additional charge where a bicycle rack is fitted to the vehicle.

Please Note: Charges are all subject to change without notice. Tickets will be available on collection of your vehicle and you can pay for them at that time.
